Expands to New York’s East End

NEW YORK, NY – OCTOBER 30, 2023 – The Corcoran Group, New York City’s top residential real estate brokerage, today announced that Paul Wexler, a leading healthcare and commercial real estate expert, has expanded his business to New York’s discerning East End. Announcement of the expansion was made by Ernest Cervi, Regional Senior Vice President of the firm’s East End operations.
For almost 40 years, Paul Wexler has used his masterful market expertise to make extraordinary leaps within the healthcare and commercial real estate industry. Wexler brought his team to jumpstart the commercial business at Corcoran when he originally partnered with Barbara Corcoran in 1999. Wexler is a pioneer in the highly specialized healthcare real estate arena and is considered the leading expert in New York City. Wexler Healthcare and Commercial Properties currently represents over one million square feet of space across 100 healthcare, commercial, and retail properties throughout New York City.
Wexler has already completed a transaction in the East End, bringing NYU Langone Medical Associates to Bridgehampton. Now, the team is exclusively representing four new development properties for one of the East End’s most prolific builders, The Farrell Companies—three in Riverhead, 374 Main Road, 314 Main Road, 743 Union Avenue, and one in Bridgehampton at 2297 Montauk Highway. Wexler and his team have also been engaged to bring a healthcare or commercial tenant to the Bridgehampton property, at which the build can be tenant-specific with the signing of a long-term lease. Moreover, he is currently selling three development sites on the North Fork.

With this new office, Wexler Healthcare Properties welcomes a new team member, Dan Lessing, who will closely collaborate with Paul on the group’s East End business. Lessing, a 30-year industry veteran, comes to Corcoran from his principal role at DSR Group, overseeing the leasing and sales of five million square feet of commercial space across the tri-state area.
